Empties #7

Disclaimer:  All products were purchased by me with my own funds.  All opinions expressed are my own.

It has been a super long time since my last empties post.  I had prepared a post on empties this past fall but never posted it, so there was a whole batch I never shared.  These are my empties since then.

Face Buff Energizing Scrub, Jack Black - This was a sample that I received in a Sephora order. While it is a men's product, I thought I would give it a try.  It smells great and worked pretty well at exfoliating my skin.  I would consider purchasing this full size.

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion, The Body Shop - I love the Tea Tree line from The Body Shop so I thought I would try this when I spotted it at Ulta one day.   It kept my skin clear without drying it out.

Purifying Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Mask, Que Bella - This was a great mask for just a few dollars.  While it was a one-time use packet I actually got 3 or 4 uses out of it.

Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask, The Body Shop - This is a great mask to clarify and draw out impurities.  My skin looks so much better after just one use.  I ended up buying the full size jar.

Deep Cleansing Oil, DHC - This was a little sample that same in the DHC catalogue.  I really liked this. This removed all my makeup without leaving any residue.

Acne Spot Fix, Murad - This is am amazing spot treatment.  I apply at night and in the morning the spot is practically gone.  I have since repurchased as this is sure to become a skincare staple for me.

Tea Tree Oil, The Body Shop - Tea tree oil is great spot treatment and one that I have been using for years.  I like this one from The Body Shop.  Tea Tree oil has a ton of different uses so I always like to keep a bottle on hand.

Soothing Cleansing Oil, Bobbi Brown - I wanted to try this for so long before picking up the travel size.  I was kind of disappointed.  There are other cleansing oils that I like so much better.  It didn't dissolve all my makeup.

Argan Cleansing Oil, Josie Maran - This was another cleansing oil that I was a little disappointed in.  It did a decent job but left a bit of a residue.

Take the Day Off Cleansing Oil, Clinique - I liked this cleansing oil a lot.  It dissolved all my make-up and didn't leave any residue.  Its probably one of my favorite cleansing oils.

Perfect Pumpkin Enzyme Polish, June Jacobs - I have used the Perfect Pumpkin Peeling Enzyme Masque and really love it so I wanted to love this too.  Unfortunately it didn't do anything for me.

Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask, REN - I love this mask.  It clarifies and exfoliates without causes any irritation.  It makes my skin feel and look fantastic after I use it.

Mask Noir, Julep - I received this in a Julep Maven box forever ago.  I wanted it to be a dupe for the Luminizing Black Mask from Boscia, since I loved that, but this was no comparison.  It was another product that I feel didn't do too much for me.  It was also really hard to peel off.

SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment, GLAMGLOW - I love love love this mask.  If I could only use one mask from here on out it would be this.  My skin looks so much better using this.  It pulls out any impurities.

Cucumber Melon Calming Mist, Ann Webb - I found this at Whole Foods one day.  It feels and smells amazing.  It also calms any redness.

Continuous Control Acne Cleanser, Clean & Clear - This is a good drugstore alternative to Proactiv.  I will often pick this up when I can't get to the Proactiv Kiosk or want to save a few dollars.

Candy Eau De Parfum, Prada - This smells delicious.  I loved Aquolina's Pink Sugar when I was younger and this smells like a more grown up sophisticated version.

Photo Finish More Than Primer Dark Spot Correcting, Smashbox - I like products that are multifunctional so the fact that I can treat my dark spots while priming my skin is fantastic.  I have so many primers right now, but I will most likely repurchase this next time I am in the market for a primer.

Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector, BECCA - This was a 100 point perk from Sephora.  It works really well at filling pores.  It is a bit sticky but I think that only helped my foundation stay on better.

The POREfessional, Benefit Cosmetics - This is another great pore filling primer.

Radiant Creamy Concealer, NARS - I love this concealer.  It gives great coverage and stays in place throughout the day.

Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp, NYX Cosmetics - This may be the first lip color that I actually used up entirely.  I love these lip creams and this color is so pretty and flattering.

Long-Wear gel Eyeliner in Violet Ink, Bobbi Brown - I have used a purple gel eyeliner for years.  While this is a little pricey, it doesn't dry up as fast as some of the drug-store gel liners.  A jar of this will last me a couple months.  It is also really long-lasting throughout the day.

Creaseless Cream Shadow in RSVP, Benefit Cosmetics - I love this formula and color.  I have used this as a base every day since I first purchased this back in March.  I used this every single day and never even hit pan before it got a little dry.  I have since repurchased.

BB Cream Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector, Garner - This is a good drugstore BB Cream.  It blends well, gives good coverage and leaves my skin illuminous. I have noticed that it starts to oxidize throughout the day after about a mouth or so, so I ended up tossing before finishing the tube.

Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation, Yves Saint Laurent - I love this foundation.  It makes my skin just sort of glow.

Matte Moisture Tint, Jouer - I bought this because so maybe beauty bloggers were raving about it.  I used it once or twice and then forgot about it.  I wish I had given it another try before it got too old.

The Chaser Shine Pomade, Drybar - I love this pomade and have since repurchased.  I like that it is a cream and not a thick wax so its really easy to work with.

Pantene Pro-V ColorSeal Conditioning Therapy, Clairol - I color my own hair.  It just grows so fast that it is impossible to keep up with at the salon.  I really like the conditioning treatments that come in the box.

3 Minute Miracle Color, Aussie - I have been using 3 Minute Miracle since I was in high school.  I love that they now make a formula for color-treated hair.

Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo & Conditioner, Oribe - I wish this shampoo and conditioner wasn't so damn expensive.  I bought it using Birchbox points and a discount code so I got it at for a steal.  I loved how this made my hair feel and smell.

Perfect Hair Day Shampoo & Conditioner, Living Proof - I liked this because it does tackles five different hair concerns; it smooths, polishes, add volumes, strengthens and conditions. I also love that it keeps your hair cleaner longer.

Ol Shampoo & Conditioner, Davines - I received both these products in a Birchbox sometime back.  I wasn't crazy about the shampoo but really loved the conditioner.  It conditions well, smells amazing and helps your hair dry faster.

TRES Two Freeze Hold Hair Spray, TRESemme - This is my go to hairspray,  I have been using it for years.  It holds my hair without being stiff.

Lock It Bold Control Hairspray, L'Oreal Paris - While TRESemme is my go to, I will pick this up on occasion depending whether or not its on sale or if I can find the TRESemme Freeze Hold.  Its similar to TRESemme and works almost as well.

Dry Shampoo with Nettle, Klorane - This is my goto dry shampoo.  It doesn't irritate my scalp or leave any residue on in my hair.

Dry Texturizing Spray, Oribe - This is my favorite texturizing spray.  It adds just the right amount of texture.  It is a little on the pricey side, but its worth the splurge.

Cotton Square, Swisspers - I usually go for the store brand cotton ovals, but got these instead.  They worked fine.

Take Off Makeup Correcting Swabs, Sumita - I like these to correct any messes on my eye makeup.  These swabs are a bit smaller then some of the other brands that I have used to get right in there, and the cotton is bound tightly, which is important.

Clinical Strength Deodorant/Antiperspirant, Secret - I'm not super picky about deodorant.  As long as it works and doesn't smell like fruit, I'll use it. This worked.

Clear Tone Skin Renew Anti-perspirant Deodorant, Dove - This is suppose to correct the skin tone of your under arms.  I haven't noticed too much of a difference, but my under arms weren't that discolored to begin with.  As far as a deodorant, it works just fine.

Hand Towels, Kleenex - I like to use these to dry my face after washing.  It is a little wasteful so I prefer to use a clean wash cloth, but these are great in a pinch.

Sensitive Skin Hand Wipes, Wet Ones - I keep Wet Ones everywhere; in my purse, in my car,  in my office and on my vanity.  They are great to spot clean make-up brushes and to wipe foundation from my hands.

Baby Wash with Honey Apple, Johnson's - Because this is a baby wash, it has no irritants nor does it leave any residue.  It cleans and lathers well, and I love the honey apple scent.

Clean On Me Creamy Moisture Shower Gel, Soap & Glory - This cleans well, doesn't strip the skin and smells fantastic.

Positively Smooth Shave Gel, Aveeno - This is my goto shave gel.  It really does slow the hair growth.  I have been using it for years and love it.

Hand Food Hand Cream, Soap & Glory - I can not go without hand cream. This has that same fantastic scent as the shower gel and softens my hands.
