Week in Photos

Source: Emily McCarthy

I would normally save this for my Quote of the Week, but my quote collection is getting so big.  I guess I could say I collect quotes.  Whenever I see one I like I save it,  which is how I get most of my weekly quotes.  My collection is getting so big that I don't know if I will ever get to post all of them.  SO, I have added a "Quotes" page, where I am going to post all the fantastic quotes that I have saved.  (I have already posted some, but there are lots more still to be posted).  I'll still feature one of my favorites each Monday.

Emily McCarthy is a blogger, owner of Emma J Design and co-owner of Twist Paper.  I am officially obsessed with her work and could probably dedicate an entire Friday Faves to all of her sites!

You would have never known that it was in the 60s here on Monday when we then got just about 2 inches of snow here in the city on Wednesday. (some nearby towns got a bit more)  Then yesterday is was 22 degrees when I left the house in the morning.  Got to love how bipolar New England weather is!

One way to celebrate Pantone's Color of the Year is which Emerald  Sherbet, especially with Spring being just a few short months (?) away!

As the oldest Parisian trunk maker still in business, Goyard trunks are one of the most sought after.  I love how timeless and brightly colored these are.  Goyard is kind of one of my latest obsessions.  All the monograms and stripes on their gorgeous bags and trunks are hand-painted. A Goyard tote is on the top of my lust list.

I originally saw this and thought "I want that entire dining room," then I looked beyond the dining room and envisioned the table as a workspace.  Who says a desk needs to be a traditional rectangle?  It made me think back to Coco & Kelley's new office, where the founder, Cassie, uses a round table instead of a desk.  It's kind of brilliant actually.  It is so informal and you could really use the table to collaborate with others and move around your "desk."  I don't see a dining room here, I see my dream office.
