November Favorites

I used a number of new products last month and discovered some that I know I will most likely purchase over and over again.

November Favorites

Yves Saint Laurent LE TEINT TOUCHE ÉCLAT Illuminating Foundation SPF 19 - I really love how lightweight this is, yet gives great coverage.  It is illuminating so it gives yoru complexion a gorgeous glow.

PRADA Candy Perfume - I received a deluxe size sample of this from Sephora some time back and I am really loving it.  It smells so delicious!  It has a sweet candy-like smell, yet is very sophisticated and grown up.

NARS Concealer - I bought this when I ran out of the Body Shop stick concealer that I had been using and didn't have many expectations.  I loved the body shop concealer because it matched my skin perfectly and because it was a stick, application was super easy.  This concealer is very creamy and blends great.  And Custard matches me just as well as the Body Shop Tea Tree concealer I had been using.

eyes lips face Professional Studio Cream Eyeliner - I have a very difficult time finding eyeliner that doesn't give me raccoon eyes.  For the longest time I would just not use eyeliner for that reason.  I first bought the e.l.f cream eyeliner in plum and really really loved it.  I then bought it in black and have been using it every day.

NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base - I have very oily eyelids and have tried so many primers to help keep my shadow in place throughout the day.  Until I used this Nars eyeshadow base, eye shadow would slide off my lids within hours.  My shadow will now last 8+ hours with this primer/base.

Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Cream Gel Shadow - I first bought the Maybelline Color Tattoos shadows when they first came out and didn't really think too much of them.  Paired with the NARS shadow base, these are my new favorite shadows.  I am not into some of the intense vibrant colors that come in the color tattoos, but do use Bad to the Bronze and Barely Beige (limited edition - no longer available) on a daily bases.  I love how I can layer up Bad to the Bronze to make my crease as light or dark as I want.

  1. even though the Nars concealer is more expensive than I usually buy, I really think it's amazing. I like the duo version of it especially, because I can blend for my perfect match. I've heard a lot about that Prada fragrance, I need to get a sample!
