Built-In Window Seats

The house I grew up in was built in 1917.  Aside from it being my childhood home, one of the things I love about it as an adult is all its amazing built-ins that were widely popular in houses of that era.  From a built-in linen closet, china cabinet, and window seat it has all the charm of an early 20th century homes.

One of my favorite memories as a child is sprawling out on the window seat.  The entire length of the dining room, it was lined with pillows.  Today, window seats are just as popular (and cozy) with many home owners seeking out the perfect nook.
