Chanel Le Vernis Nail Color

I have probably more nail polish than I will ever use in my lifetime.  It is pretty ridiculous. What is worse is the amount of similar colors I have. For a while my entire collection was red because that is all I wore.  Lately I have been wearing more pinks and beigey nudes.  Now that I'm incorporating more colors, my collection just keeps getting bigger. 
When it comes to brands, I don't discriminate.  I have anywhere from Wet & Wild to Chanel.  Even though they are pricey, my favorites are my Chanels.  Not just because of the color (they are reds), but because I just really like their polishes.  Chanel polishes are very smooth and creamy, and they last so long on my nails. 

Chanel polish is pricey, about $26.00, but given how long they last on my nails I find it to be worth it.  They do tend to thicken in the bottle, so you do have to use them fast.  If you do want to splurge I would recommend getting a color that you are going to want to wear over and over again and not necessarily a "trendy" color, since you probably won't use up the entire bottle.

Since I love red polish #487, Rouge Fatale, was a no brainer for me.   It a great blue red. 

Although the polish does thicken, I have had this color since Christmas of 2010 and applied it with no issues today.  I have had it thinned at the nail salon, which is way it still works well. Sadly the color is no longer available, but it is similar to #455, Lotus Rouge, although Lotus Rouge has less brown and a little more blue to the red.
