On the Pinboard

I love Pinterest.  I am completely obsessed.  It is such a great tool to share and store ideas and recipes and GORGEOUS photos and decor.  I originally sat down to create a post of all my favorite Pins but as I started going through them I decided there were way too many to post.  Rather than posting them all at once, I figured I would do a series on my favorite Pins. I am going to start with all my favorite funny pins.

I Love That Dirty Water

Today was my work's annual company meeting and luncheon.  This year we went to Top of the Hub restaurant and Skywalk Observatory at the Prudential Building in Boston.  The Pru is the 2nd highest building in Boston and the Top of Hub and Skywalk Observatory occupy the top 2 floors, giving it the most breath taking views of the city.

Can you imagine seeing these views every day?!?!?!  I would never complain about my job!

The ballpark in the center is Fenway Park with the iconic Citgo sign just to the right.

View of the Charles River and Longfellow Bridge

View down to the street.  The building with a green roof is an Apple Store and that is grass on the roof!

(I Love That Dirty Water is a line from "Dirty Water" a song first recorded by the California rock and roll band The Standells in 1966. The song is a mock paean to the city of Boston and its then-famously polluted Boston Harbor and Charles River and is traditionally played by Boston sports teams following victories)

Dream Offices

Ever since I was a child, I have loved office supplies.  Now that I am older more important than the supplies is the office they go in.  While I am lucky to have my own office at work, I would love to actually own my own office some day with complete freedom on how I decorate.  Until then I will dream . . .

Lip Products Currently in My Bag

Birchbox Blog recently asked their readers how many lip products they carried in their purse.  At the time they posed this question, I had 8 products in my purse.  This is actually low for me as I have had up to 20 lip products in my bag at once.  I like to keep my options open throughout the day and switch out my lipstick/gloss depending on my current mood.

The 8 lip products currently in my bag are Lush Snow Fairy Lip Tint,  YSL Volupte Sheer Candy #10, Laura Mercier Lip Balm, Benefit CORALista Ulta Plush Lip Gloss, YSL Rouge Volpte #29, L'Oreal Colour Caresse by Colour Riche Blushing Sequin, Too Faced Lip Insurance, and Lancome Rouge in Love #322

Snow Fairy Lip Tint, LUSH -  I am obsessed with LUSH's Snow Fairy shower gel.  The problem is it leaves me with a rash every time I attempt to use it.  I was ecstatic when I saw the lip tint in their store last Christmas.  It has the same amazing smell and conditions your lips leaving a natural pink tint without any gloss or sheen.

YSL VOLUPTÉ SHEER CANDY Glossy Balm Crystal Color 10 Tangy Mandarine

Laura Mercier Lip Balm SPF 15 - This is by far my favorite lip balm.  I love it so much, I am on my 3rd tube.

Benefit CORALista Ultra Plush Lip Gloss -  Benefit's CORALista is my absolute favorite blush these days.  As soon as I found out that Benefit was releasing a line of lip glosses inspired by their boxed powders, I ran out to buy the CORALista gloss.  It is just as gorgeous as the powder it was inspired by.

YSL ROUGE VOLUPTÉ Silky Sensual Radiant Lipstick 29 Opera Rose

L'Oreal Colour Caresse by Colour Riche Blushing Sequin

Too Faced Lip Insurance - I love this to keep my lipstick in place for hours.

Lancome Rouge in Love 322M Corail In Love - By far one of my favorite lipsticks.  The formula is very creamy and the color is absolutely beautiful.

Sunday Lusts

ASOS Beaded Iridescent Clutch

Hotspot Clutch, JustFab  - I have never ordered from JustFab, but they have some really cute stuff and are super cheap.

MGM Grand Pillows - If you have ever stayed at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas you know how incredibly comfortable the beds are.  One night on their pillows, you will never want to rest your head on anything else.  These Diamond Support Feather
pillows are sold through Pacific Pillows and are on the top of my wish list!

Trish McEvoy Large Make-up Planner and Wardrobing Page - I really want make-up storage that travels well and Trish McEvoy has some great travel solutions.

Tippi Cardigan in Green Navy Colorblock, J.Crew

Albeit Lipstick, Anthropologie - How gorgeous is this packaging?  I want one in all 6 colors!

SHU UEMURA Art of Hair Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Oil - I got a sample of this in my birchbox this month.  When I first tried it I didn't love it then I used it in semi-dry hair and just a little transformed my hair greatly.  It was little frizzy, soft, and smelled AMAZING!

What rocked my world this week

Weekend in Hyannis - As I mentioned last week I spent this past weekend in Hyannis, MA. It was nice to a get a away for a couple of days and just relax even if we didn't get any good. - This week I launched my very own jewelry boutique through  containing stylish new finds from emerging designers and on-trend house brands. Everything is hand-picked, and up to 60% off.  Be on the look-out for my official announcement and product review within the next couple of days.

Pink Sugar Sensual - I don't shop at Ulta that often, mainly because there isn't one that close to me, but I apparently shopped there a lot last quarter because I received a level 6 rewards certificate.   Since I am just about done with two bottles of my perfume, I figured I would use the certificate and get a new scent.  After spraying various parts of my arms with a ton of different scents, I decided on Aquolina's Pink Sugar Sensual.  I wore the original Pink Sugar  10 years ago and always loved  the sweet youthful scent.  Sensual is a more grown up sophisticated version that is light sweet warm scent.

If you aren't familiar with their rewards program, check out their FAQ HERE.

Manicure with Essie, Watermelon - I can not get enough of Essie's Watermelon nail polish.   Since Summer is winding down, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get this bright fun color on my nails before I retire it for the season. I pair this gorgeous color with Essie's Fiji on my toes.  Fiji is a soft milky pink that I love year round on both toes and fingers.

Leopard-print cardigan - I don't wear too much animal print, but was looking for a leopard print cardigan to wear with a bright raspberry colored top I recently got.  I found this gem in Old Navy for less than $25.  The material is so soft and feels much more expensive and luxurious, I am not going to want to take this off.

Giovanni D:tox System purifying and exfoliating facial cleaning towelettes - I use cleansing wipes daily to remove my make-up before washing my face.  I grabbed a 10 ct of these earlier this week to try.  While I didn't exactly notice a different with the condition of my skin, these worked great to remove make-up.  They left no traces behind.

I think I want red TOMs

Up until the release of ballet flats earlier this year, I never really liked TOM's all that much.   I love the concept of "One for One" but the shoes themselves were never really my style.  That was until they came out with the ballet flats and I immediately went out and purchased the  Gisele Leopard flats.  Not only are they SO cute, they are incredibly comfortable.  They are almost like wearing a sneaker.

Fast forward to today; I started thinking that I really want a pair of Red Canvas Slip-Ons.  I originally thought they were something only college kids would wear, but then I started to think that they could really be glamed up with a chic casual outfit
