Sleep Mask, elizabethW - I have been needing a new sleep mask and really wanted one from Holistic Silk, but not for that price. While in DC this week, I stopped in the cutest shop called Charm that sold jewelry and accessories. They had these masks from elizabethW for a fraction of the price. These masks are a great size to cover the entire eye area and block out any light. And they are silk, so they feel great.
Stila Smudge Pot in Kitten - Now I know I said I was going to start Project X Pan. I am still contemplating it but after going through my products, I really don't have that much. In addition, since my blog is still new, I would like to continue researching new products for the sake of blogging. That being said, I did stop into Sephora this week and picked up this smudge pot from Stila. I have been obsessed with cream eye shadow lately and really wanted Chanel Emerveille. While "window shopping" at Sephora, I saw this color which almost an exact dupe for Emerveille but $16 cheaper. I'm not sure how the formula compares too the Chanel, but I have oily lids and eye shadow usually just slides right off my eyes. The Stila Smudge Pot lasts pretty long on me. I think it is a keeper!
Boscia B.B. Cream - Another new beauty product! At this point it is safe to say, I am not doing Project X Pan, but I reserve the right to start one in the future. I have been experimenting with different BB Creams lately trying to find one that I absolutely love in the big sea of BB Creams. I have to say that I am really loving the Boscia BB Cream. I have only been using it for a little over a week, so I can't make any final conclusions yet, but I am keeping my fingers crossed with this one. The color is perfect for me, which I love because I am about a shade or two too dark for the traditional BB Creams.
JetBlue - I hate flying. I fly because I love to travel, but if I could take a train or drive everywhere, I would. This week we took JetBlue to DC. I enjoy JetBlue because of the on board amenities and the face that they have not yet jumped on the baggage fee band wagon. This week's flights were expectationally pleasant, despite the turbulence, because the flight crew was SO NICE! I was amazed at how friendly they were and how much they seemed to enjoy their jobs. I really think the staff anywhere any influence how much you enjoy your experience with the company.
Frozen Hot Chocolate, Serendipity 3 - We had dinner at Serendipity 3 in Georgetown Wednesday night. I was dying for a Bud Light and could not get one anywhere in DC. I was stoked to see it on the menu at Serendipity, but that quickly faded when I was given a Coors Light instead because they didn't have anymore Bud Light. (insert sad face) My dinner wasn't that great either, but probably because I didn't thoroughly read the description. Their famous frozen hot chocolate had up for the whole experience because it WAS SO GOOD! (I am also happy to report that I finally got a Bud Light the next night . . . YAY!)
There is so much more that I could go on and go about, but I'll keep it short and sweet. What were the places, faces and spaces that rocked your world this week?
