I often feel that I am not as productive as I could be at work. With so much going on on the interwebs and my morning routine of checking all my favorite blogs, I can sometime waste close to an hour before I dive into my day. I recently attended a seminar on productively where the speaker suggested turning off your email and internet for 15 minutes each morning and each afternoon and focus on one high priority project. After 3 weeks, do the same for 15 minutes twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon. You would then have spent 1 hour a day/5 hours a week on pure uninterrupted work. Think of how much you could get done in that time.
